An Unexpected Visit

Last evening, while Elena Lynn was at the office with James Mason, Nickolaus Richter showed up.  Nick offered to heal Elena’s injured left wrist, where Danny Blythe had previously grabbed it during an altercation, and apologized to Elena for not helping her sooner.

Despite whatever threats Harry might have made to Nick, or against Nick’s girlfriend, Imogen, Nick still went to visit Elena, and declared his deep love for her.  This prompted James to move between them, and suggest that Nick ought to be having a rather different sort of conversation with Imogen, if that were the case.  James also suggested that Nick should have completed his assignment to be a guardian angel, if his major goal was to be close to Elena.  Nick said he also loves Imogen, which James refuted, and Nick left without responding.

Return of Hostilities

When Harry returned, something very peculiar had happened the next night.  It seemed just as Harry was settling in, just as Cheri was tending to him, Elena had received a phone call from Nickolaus Richter.  Harry didn’t react immediately, instead waiting for several days, a week or so, before reaching out to settle this.

Harry approached Imogen Harper with a big bouquet of flowers, and both he and James Mason managed to get inside her apartment.  A conversation was had about Nick, and how he spent far too much time fawning over Harry’s wife.  A compromise was promised: if Nick left Elena alone, than Harry would leave Imogen alone.

When Nick arrived, he tried to power past James, who in turn broke Nick’s grip on him, grabbed his junk and twisted.  James always said he was a nutcracker.  After Harry and Nick shook on this business arrangement and both Harry and James left, Nick fell to the ground in pain.

New Entity- Or is it Two?

The latest string of events across of Toronto seem unconnected, but it seems that perhaps there is more than meets the eye.  A blond man with dreadlocks in his hair happened upon Nickolaus, Elena, Cheri, and James, asking for nothing more than to be shown the night life.

That man, Garraty, has come to mean far more to Cheri than he should have been able to.  Though she first spurned him, she now seems quite taken by him… and the thrall he puts her into.  Though some can fight the compulsion, most humans will not be able to actively feel it or notice it.  Supernatural creatures, on the other hand, will likely have an idea what the man is.

Elena, who was friendly and cordial to Garraty, and offered to help him, found reason to watch him given his psychotic behaviour towards her– friendly one moment, and threatening the next.  She found him in a diner with another new figure who seemed… off.  The girl was small, and her skin seemed to have an odd pallor, which appeared… grey.
