A small apartment belonging to one Imogen Harper went up in flames. The fire department managed to put the fire out before it spread to any nearby apartments, but everything inside was destroyed. No one was home at the time, and no one in the building was hurt. The investigation showed that the fire was intentionally set.
Last evening, while Elena Lynn was at the office with James Mason, Nickolaus Richter showed up. Nick offered to heal Elena’s injured left wrist, where Danny Blythe had previously grabbed it during an altercation, and apologized to Elena for not helping her sooner.
Despite whatever threats Harry might have made to Nick, or against Nick’s girlfriend, Imogen, Nick still went to visit Elena, and declared his deep love for her. This prompted James to move between them, and suggest that Nick ought to be having a rather different sort of conversation with Imogen, if that were the case. James also suggested that Nick should have completed his assignment to be a guardian angel, if his major goal was to be close to Elena. Nick said he also loves Imogen, which James refuted, and Nick left without responding.
When Harry returned, something very peculiar had happened the next night. It seemed just as Harry was settling in, just as Cheri was tending to him, Elena had received a phone call from Nickolaus Richter. Harry didn’t react immediately, instead waiting for several days, a week or so, before reaching out to settle this.
Harry approached Imogen Harper with a big bouquet of flowers, and both he and James Mason managed to get inside her apartment. A conversation was had about Nick, and how he spent far too much time fawning over Harry’s wife. A compromise was promised: if Nick left Elena alone, than Harry would leave Imogen alone.
When Nick arrived, he tried to power past James, who in turn broke Nick’s grip on him, grabbed his junk and twisted. James always said he was a nutcracker. After Harry and Nick shook on this business arrangement and both Harry and James left, Nick fell to the ground in pain.
