Hembroke Chaos

Last evening there as an incident at Hembroke Grove apartment complex.  A street parked car was repeatedly hit with a sledgehammer and a Molotov cocktail thrown inside.  Four suspects went to the Emerald building and knocked out the back door security guard, hiding out in one of the apartments on the second floor.  Security reacted quickly, and gained some intel from Detective James Temple, who was already on the scene.

A fifth man was apprehended, put into place by off duty Detective Temple and taken by local police, to be later released after giving a statement.  The other four men were found and taken into custody.

Coffee Reconnection

James Temple hadn’t been in Toronto for too long.  Long enough to find work as a detective on Toronto’s police force, and to have an apartment with the barest of necessities.  The most important thing he had found was a good coffee shop.

Eva Saoirse might have been living in Toronto for some time, but she was often in the office of the high profile fashion designer she had worked for since leaving New York City.  When she walked into the coffee shop, she’d never imagined she’d run into James Temple, a police officer she’d known when she’d been a barista many years ago.

James and Eva left the coffee shop together, found a nice Thai place to eat at, and ended up heading towards the Hembroke Grove series of apartment complexes.
